A Possible Home is an exhibition presenting works by contemporary artists from Belarus, Poland, and Ukraine, creatively connected with Poznań
The works explore the meaning of places – those that have become a home by choice or necessity, as well as those that have been left behind. The project refers to the experience of war, displacement, and loss, but also to coexistence, adaptation, and the building of community.
Our aim is to create a space for artistic dialogue, showing art as a medium of integration and mutual understanding.
Participating artists:
Janusz Bałdyga, Volodymyr Budnikov, Eva Dacko, Andrii Dostliev, Lia Dostlieva, Stefan Ficner, Ola Korbańska, Alexey Lunev, Volha Maslouskaya, Witold Modrzejewski, Vlada Ralko, Sergey Shabohin, Szymon Szymankiewicz, Raman Tratsiuk.
Curator: Zofia Nycz
The exhibition will take place in Poznań, at Stary Rynek 23 – a symbolic location for the city, which today serves as an independent gallery and the studio of poster artist Szymon Szymankiewicz. The idea was initiated by Joanna and Stefan Ficner
